With this one, the first of the (now proposed) 100 portraits, I took the style explored in the first portrait and turned it into a more recognizable, if not fully formed, methodology.
I must confess, despite being one of the first few of the series, I do rather like this one. The combination of the great expression, nice texture on the leather jacket, quirky beret and strong background colour works for me. Note the use of the gradient on the earrings - a technique used in later metallic items and jewellery.
