With thi portrait I think it would have been neneficial to increase the detailing on certain parts - the eyes in particular lack character. In the later portraits, the iris was de facto on all portraits, but here they are depicted as lifeless black blobs.
Some of the shapes and curves here are slightly messy too - a byproduct of the rushed procedure. On later portraits the detail become more important (and more time was spent on each accordingly.)
